 80 Spec
Given that I'm pirating gov't resources and really can't look up much of nothing without hitting the "Red Screen of Death", similar to the "Blue Screen of Death" but much more likely to be fatal to your career and not your computer, can anyone give me advice on a level 80 spec? I'm dual spec'd right now Tankadin / Holy and I'm only about 1.5 levels from 80 at which time I'll be doing heroics till my brain melts more than likely. http://wow-heroes.com/index.php?zone=us ... =epiphanyeI realize the vast majority of my gear is still level 70 purples but I'm not having much luck finding good upgrades just yet. I figure once I start Heroic's this'll remedy itself to an extent. Any gear advice would be awesome too. I'm running 3 gear spec's right now, Tanking / Healing and Hybrid (leveling) gear.

 Re: 80 Spec
Here is a post I made a while ago that has the "top" specs that are used. I find it decently useful for holy at least. It might give you a start at least. I know that you can't do check it while you're at work, but it gives you a start. It might also be worth looking at the armoury for some of our current pallys as we seem to be doing well enough. As for that specific holy build, if you want to try out the divine shield method, by all means, especially if you'll be doing 5mans for the next while. For raiding, I tend to dip farther into the ret spec for the glorious amounts of crit. When I'm not about to cross the boarder I'll take a better look at the prot spec! *wave as she cruzes past*

 Re: 80 Spec
I've got a fairly strong Holy spec, so check mine out. It's similar to Fara's with a few minor differences. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-tale ... al&group=2

 Re: 80 Spec
I wholly approve of this spec, since it's pretty much what I'm using now I will say that I suggest moving one point from improved judgements somewhere else, as you don't need an 8-second judgement in the 969 rotation. I'm also beginning to question the usefulness of command as a tank. I used it for trash in heroics for awhile, but I find myself just sticking with corruption these days. That one's just a personal preference, though.

 Re: 80 Spec
I'm just barely clearing 25k hps with buffs... and my Def is sitting at about 530ish... I still need new bracers a helm with a meta slot and a few other bits and bobs to get me up to the point where i'll feel better about tanking a heroic so right now I'm sticking to healing and picking up odds and ends when I can.
What's the 969 rotation? I keep seeing it refed but I still haven't found a description of what it is.
Your 37k scares me ...

 Re: 80 Spec
You have skills whose refresh rates are 9 seconds and 6 seconds. A 969 rotation is varying these back and forth so there is always one of them coming up. I had help from Boolie,Rhayke, Raunien, Snos, and a couple more when I first started pally tanking. There's a nice article in the tank section where Rhayke puts a whole list of what he does. I use seal of command on trash in heroics and corruption for bosses. I found Seal of Command really helpful in helping me keep aggro from Marreachy, Homzz, And Quazi. viewtopic.php?f=42&t=3645 -- Where I got some advice

 Re: 80 Spec
Here's a handy explanation video. It's taken me a ridiculous amount of time to get my hp there, and I still feel undergeared when I see other paladins with 40k+

 Re: 80 Spec
I was with an unbuffed warrior last night who was pushing 50k health... My tanking set has finally improved enough that I'm in the 25 - 27k range with just self buffs. Having said that I seriously need to replace my Hat / Necklace / Weapon / Sheild and 1 trinket.
